Log Cabin Time - A Indefinite Blog Hiatus

Hey so have been meaning to post this for a while. Essentially in terms of interesting blog content at the moment I don't think I have it at the moment - potentially I never have either! Add to that my interest in recapping what my splits were at the latest race is pretty minimal - it normally goes like - swim like crap, passed people on the bike, passed a few more on the run.

As a result for a indeterminable amount of time I am retreating to a metaphorical log cabin until I have something interesting to post.

I  the mean time I will be endeavoring to reduce distractions so I can hang out with my family, train hard and smart (In my metaphorical log cabin) so as to execute some goals over the next 2 to 4 years.

I aim to be like Dick Proenneke and focus on what I need to do and keep things simple, in fact I am sure at some point I will head to the woods or to the beach for a little solo running camp.

If you wish to follow my random tweets as I search for 711's having bonked on a run or similar then follow my tweets which occur on a adhoc basis (meaning, no tweets for quite a while followed by 3 tweets about sugar and slurpee) https://twitter.com/jeremyhopwood - heck I might even set up a instagram account to take some photos on the journey.

For all those local, see you at the races (tri, running, cross country, beer miles etc)- race lots, shop local and support the sport.
